Supply Chain Days 2010: Supply Chain Management enjoying a resurgence
Those responsible for SCM in many industrial companies are once again in highly optimistic moods, having steered their supply chains back to growth territory following the period of crisis. This was the main finding of Supply Chain Days, which took place in Heidelberg on 9th and 10th June 2010. Professor Lothar Späth, former Minister President of Baden-Württemberg and patron of the event, believes the industrial sector in Germany is already experiencing a revival.

Supply Chain Performance Management: Small steps, big impact
Key performance indicators (KPIs) applied on a company-wide basis provide a foundation for effective supply chain intervention. Though this sounds convincing in theory, it can be problematic when put into practice.
